| This painting was placed on my heart for what I have been struggling latley with my walk with my best friend, Jesus. I have asked peoples true opinions on this painting and many like it, however I have gotten a few that have been disturbed by it and that is what I want. This painting is a symbolism of a choice between being a slave to yourself or being a slave to God. The first outlook is the woman is carrying her own burden and because she is not asking for help she is slowly sinking into her own sins. The second is that the Cross, which symbolizes Christ, is placing her into his blood for her to become a living sacrifice. |

ReplyDeleteThese are all very good! I can see them being illustrations in a book. Very stylized and reminiscent of earlier time periods, yet modern at the same time. I think the vivid color is what I like the most.
ReplyDeleteAs I told you last time, I LOVE the first painting♥♥ you used complementary color of red and green, I know these colour relationships are very difficult to matching. Each figures are very lifelike(＾∇＾)
ReplyDeleteI love how how every color in this picture compliments one another. The blending in the picture helps with the movement of it. I get soooo much from the picture without even reading the description! I love everything about it! I instantly caught the meaning of the picture and the color caught my eye immediately!!!
